Am I still fat?

Last august, weighed in at 283.5. As of last week, I weighed 191.5 . Should I lose more weight ? Would you consider me as fat? I am 5'9" and have also put on a good amount of muscle on my arms/chest.

Depends on your overall build, I would say no less than 175 and you will be good. Probably fine now.

I would totally agree with this.

Wow! Well done! Ninety two pounds weight loss is an achievement regardless of starting weight. In your case, it's a huge achievement because it represents a third of your whole body weight as fat. Plus you've added muscle mass. That's pretty impressive.

Depending on just how much muscle you've got there, it sounds like you could be cruising around a good weight for you. One of my friends is about your height and weight and aside from a bit of a beer gut (which he really should lose) nobody could accuse him of being out of shape.

Only thing to bear in mind, though, is that if you want to maintain a large amount of muscle as part of your regular weight, you need to put in the effort to keep it.

You should see a nutritionist to tell you what your target weight should be.

Well done, man! I bet loosing all that wasn't easy!

I'm not a professional nutritionist, just a gym rat. So you gotta take my advice with caution. But I'd say you still gotta keep up a low carb diet, but do eat lots of protein and build your workout routines with more stress on cardio at this point. (I'd even say try programs like Shaun T's "insanity" to spice up your cardio, cause i hate doing miles on treadmills).

The theory that you gotta have mass/fat to build muscle is not exactly true, so it's better to loose some more at this point and then start pumping iron to gain some muscles.

You mean your bmi, right? If you weighed less than 25 pounds, you'd be dead. lol

Well it depends on how old you are

I'm assuming you're male, I'm 5'8" 195. SO i wouldn't sweat it.

If you want to be ripped, then the perfect weight (typically) from someone our height is between 155-170 lbs.
