I know that girls and boys generally tend to prefer the parent of the opposite sex, but I often find that everyone loves their mums/moms more from a technical standpoint.
Personally, my parents both love me very much, but my mum is a way better parent and person technically than my dad, who is an aggressive, alcoholic, intellectually and socially unacceptable brute as I mentioned in my other story: (http://isitnormal.com/poll/my-dads-an-idiot-i-cant-bring-myself-to-love-him-as-a-parent-help-133209/) (no advertising intended.)

I wish our society would reinforce more importance towards Fatherhood. I truly believe that many social problems within our society and our generation in particular could be rectified if Men were positively encouraged to be Fathers as much as Women are to be Mothers.
This sounds kind of mean but I would have preferred my grandma raising me alone then with either of them or both of them.
Quite frankly, that pisses me off.
If you're looking to answer from a very small sample size, though, then my father is inferior.
