In my home, my fiance and I respect one another's priorities and agendas. If one of us doesn't want something dirty, that one's going to clean it. If the other person cleans it to be nice, well that's what it is; nice. We are obligated to respect one another; not clean up after each other, not pay each other's bills. Do we do these things? Yes- but only because we want to.
