Well the other night i came across a webpage containing fan art, captions, fanfic and more stuff involving my little pony friendship is magic, and this got me thinking
Who else on this site enjoys the series or user made content on this show.
So my question basicly is
How many bronys are there on IIN?

*please mean furry so I don't look like an retard*
The season finale kinda confused me. Twilight never mentioned before that she had a brother. And yet all the others took it in stride like she talked about him all the time.
Sorry for slightly off-topic, but meh~

But i still enjoyed the canterlot wedding parts 1-2
It sucked cos i had the song stuck in my head and was humming it outloud in the train
I got alot of people stairing at me
No, though. Not a brony.
There's usually a good reason why people took up a liking to the show...especially a massive unintended audience of older guys.
I know it's hard to believe, but the show changed with FiM (Generation 4). It isn't all butterflies and rainbows like it used to be. It got more gender neutral, got rid of the extreme girly aspect, and re-did practically everything else. In my honest opinion, it shouldn't be called "My Little Pony" anymore. It's just so different from that 'crappy girly adfest for toys' that existed before it.
The new creator 'Lauren Faust' intended to give the show a new beginning; and she did just that! She is a well-respected director of cartoon shows (you probably saw her works when you were a teen, that's how far it goes back). The show tends to deal with more mature topics and has some adult humor thrown in (which also sparked the interest). The characters are actually interesting and likeable, the animation is much better, and the fandom is the friendliest fandom I've ever seen.
I could go on and on about what makes the fandom and show such a modern phenomena, but it would take several pages to cover it all. I hope this answers your questions (this is perspective from one who also watches the show) along side the other millions of people who do).
