I've seen just as many manipulative men as women.
When you think about a woman manipulating someone, it's always a man, and that is simply because of the whole sex manipulation thing.
Men manipulate people to do far larger things, they also make the person being manipulated think it's the right thing to do. Charlie Manson for example, and that guy with the cool-aid.

But, I've seen women manipulate women for more reasons. Just take high school as a prime example. Girls will often manipulate each other for multiple reasons. They will make them feel bad about their clothes, hair, appearance, etc. Just to get a reaction out of them. The downed played girls reaction is to buy better clothes wear make-up and so on just to fit in with the popular girls. They do it just make fun of her in a lot of cases. They just want to see how much power they have over the other girl. To me, that is manipulation.

That is the furthest thing from the truth and fact. Fact.
It's not about sex all the time. I think a lot of people know that women don't just manipulate men, but they manipulate women too. That's why everyone is not agreeing with him. Even though you did, at least you acknowledged the fact that women manipulate women too. :}
If a man can not identify that a woman that withholds affection rather than growing up and solving a problem is obviously not a worthy wife, mother or companion, then I fault none but his own judgement. If a woman can see men as disposable and a woman is willing to "dump his ass" for any reason of her own, a man should be able to "dump her ass" and shop for a new model if the woman he is with insists on childish behavior.
In case you have not noticed, men also have power and free will and feet that can walk away. To allow oneself to be manipulated by one's own primal urges are a weakness, not one that I pity anyone for having. Especially if they have a right hand. Mine has served me pretty well over the years.
Equality. Men have the ability to take power and control over their relationships. If you want to talk about male empowerment, talk about what they should do for themselves, not what women need to quit doing to them as the focal point of your argument here.
@OP if you may have noticed, I edited this quite a bit as I am having trouble with my typing and articulation tonight. Pay no heed. This is probably not relevant to the argument at all. I just feel that the concept that "manipulation" in the form of sex even being plausible as a one-sided deal is not entirely valid.
I still agree with you, ItDuz, although I don't think that introducing the concept of sexual manipulation was too good of a representation of female manipulation, so much as it is exploitation of male weakness and lack of proper reasoning skills and does not contribute to your cause.
Introspection and analysis of the situation that one is in often remedies the act of manipulation, as well as capacity to make one's own decisions. Unless of course, you refute humanity's ability take such power into their own hands. If that is the case, my pity is yours.
Quite saddening, most of them let their emotion lead them rather than logic. I'd take a thumbs down from an emotional crowd than rather be part of the crowd thumbing something completely logical just because I said women weren't the best at being in control of others.
It's not the criterion for the "battle of the sexes", since it really depends on the person.
My brother is the most manipulative guy I know and he's totally being manipulated/played by a girl. (...and no, He won't listen to me when I tell him.)

That's just from my experiences, though.
I have met manipulative men, as in them pretending to love me to get sex out of me. I have met manipulative women who pretend to be friends with other women just to bring their status down as queen bee etc.
