I sometimes (very rarely) have scary dreams. I wake up from the dream in the middle of the night and then go back to sleep and the dream continues. It's annoying.
I watch a ton of those gore vids read a lot about serial killers and other atrocities watch horror movies and listen to crazy music (>like<) Necro, circle of tyrants ,Igorrr and venetian snares while I fall a sleep so I always have crazy dreams. I can tell its strange because I've mentioned my dreams to people before and they gave me horrified looks but I've had these dreams for as long as I remember so Its become normal for me.
The last nightmare I had was when I watched "The Grudge" at night with my sister. I started to fall asleep, and I could swear I saw a black hand reaching toward my face. We slept with the lights on that night.
I have bad dreams very often. Its usually about rape, the end of the world, being held hostage or murder. But its funny cause in my dream I don't feel like myself (like I'm being someone else) but I am the person who is present. Strange huh?
The only nightmares i do are either i kill someone and the police chase after me or i cheat on my gf and the guilt eats me up. But in my dreams she never finds out lol.
I never have nightmares though I used to have the odd one when I was alot younger. I wish there was a way to make myself have nightmares. Watching a ton of scary movies would be useless since I'm immune to them.
I've had some realistic death dreams. Some I fall, some I get impaled, some I fall and then get impaled, I get eaten (alligators, spiders, sharks, bears), I have an asthma attack that kills me, I get murdered, natural disaster kills me and other freaky stuff. I always wake up panicked either before or after death. It can be very gory.
Dreams can represent a fear, or something in the back of your mind that you have perhaps swept under the rug, or sometimes it can be a premonition. One way I can tell with myself is, when I feel, "omg I'm so glad it was a dream and that it's over!" or if I still have a nagging feeling that something is wrong. That has been one way I have been able to read my dreams.
It varies for me. The absolute worst ones I've had were from taking anti-depressants. I really hated dreaming about smothering to death, or being unable to move, and waking up to find myself tangled up in the sheets and drenched in sweat. Yuck.
i have freaky dreams about events my parents get it because where from a special family but i now what and when its gonna happen but my parents have deja vu i actually saw myself getting crushed in a dream by a air con on a roof i went too that building and i stoped in front of the door because i remembered it and it fell right in front of me
I had a really freaky dream not that long ago. In my dream I was in my bed in my room looking at my door( everything about my room is the exact same) and this zombie guy appears out of nowhere with his arms raised walking towards me. My whole body went cold and I couldn't move. I freaked out and forced myself to sit up and he dissapeared. When I opened my eyes I was sitting up looking at the exact same spot lol... First real nightmare I've had where I've been truely scared in a looong time.
I have nightmares sometimes, but not too often. (I love scary movies btw) Usually, in the dream, I'm scared and watching everyone else die, but I never do. It's almost like the monsters and whatever else know I love 'em! Lol! :)
There are actually books about dreams and what most psychological thing that what you see would represent. I usually see spiders in my dreams and am horrified. The book I read said that spiders usually represent the mother and there are probably slim bonds between the mother and oneself.

vivid ones.
and now its on and off.
but they're freakier than before.
I had a nightmare about a tree once.
It was monochrome and a split branch was swinging back and forth.
