Do humans grow or decay?

Well, in a poetic sense, yes. Literally however, umh its debatable. If your joints are grinding against each other, muscles are atrophying or you have a degenerative brain disease, that would be akin to decay, which is not exclusive to old age.

I suppose. But, I don't see it that way, not saying what I believe is a fact, just m opinion. Kind of like if someone has a disease that isn't really decay, just like pulling a pettle off of a rose isn't the result of the rose decaying, it is the result of a problem other than decay, if that makes sense.

Yeah that's a good analogy if such a disease doesn't lead to complete loss of function . But I used examples in which the body is actually decaying (cells are dying), though not as rapidly as postmortem.

But that's just my opinion; it really just depends.
