I think Karma is real. More in a sense that your actions usually have repercussions. However, is it some mystical force that oversees good and evil? No.

Actions whether good or bad have an opposite outcome, thing is I don't believe Karma whatsoever. It's real in the sense of what people calling "getting what they deserve". it's logically sound

Thank you for your feedback so far, much appreciated ladies and gentlemen.

Growing up - we have parents and teachers. As adults - we have KARMA!! We need reality checks every now and again to set us on the right path or just give us a pat on the back. But don't be ruled by Karma - cautiously take risks and know how to push boundaries.

Karma, is the poor mans answer, to all of his troubles. He who wishes, that something more powerful, will punish the unjust, is a man of folly.

There is no, divine arbiter, of justice. No cosmic force, which harms, the wicked. We are responsible, for our own actions, and in turn, their consequences. If we are beaten to the ground, it is by our own hand, that we rise again. Not some, self styled, cosmic force of justice.

Indeed, another human, may aid us, but that is because of the empathy in their hearts. Not because of divine will, and cosmic retribution.

Don't waste your lives, wishing upon a star, only you, can fulfil your dreams, and defend yourself.

It is more necessary for the rich man to follow Karma (aka, the Golden Rule) for he is more likely to feel unfulfilled with life.

It is never wasteful to live your life with the idea that doing good deeds is beneficial to yourself as well as others. Whether these gifts are given given by the universe or man, they are still gifts.

I like this :) We should be motivated to overcome adversities by our own desire to succeed and achieve something rather than the imagined promise of retribution.

well okay, put it this way.. its an inevitable fundamental human thought process.
In life, whatever we do will lead to a consequence and we live our lives with this in mind.
However if we're guilty of something in the past, and one day this horrible event occurs, we'll automatically put this consequential theory to aid how and why this happened.

So i guess, karma inevitably exists.
Maybe not as a higher power, just our minds playing games.

no bc a psychopath wouldnt be affected by 'karma' since guilt wouldnt throw him off

I think it exists in a logica way:

If you do something nasty you usually pay for it:
e.g. you cheat on your boyfriend he ill find out and probs break up with you.

I don't think that it exists as a concept of karma points etc or next life decidal.

I think that god is to karma, as computer programmers are to computer programs.

of course

i dont delve too deeply in things but yes i do, i belive in karma. to know that there are repurcussions is comforting and pleasant like high ceilings
Comment Hidden (show)
Maybe it doesn't exist, but it's good enough motivation for everyone to do good things to others. I know it motivates me to be nice to others. My friend has told me before that "kindness is everything". This is true indeed.

Karma is not a holy thing to believe in. Karma is something that we build our own. We always think before make any strong and important decisions. Let's take a look at bums or may be homeless and drunk folks. One day they born and their parents perhaps were happy to death and they grow up as a many others, but what happens then? I don't think it's karma related when someone became an successfull businessman or some became a bum. Most likely it's not karma but the way we build for our future day.

People always have a choice whether be good or bad, strong or weak, live or die, love or have and so on...

Thank you sir! Your insightful words are valued more than any other, and thus accordingly appreciated. I apologise for my pathetic english, but I believe that you understand my words. Thank you once more!

of course it exists. i dont necessarily believe its a living thing like a god or anything, maybe not even a strange force (but i think it might be), but even if its not those, the idea of karma happens all the time. it doesnt always strike (good people get bad times, bad people get good times) but it definately happens

It exists in Fallout games: you can steal a lot just remember to say nice things.

Karma is kind of like the idea of Fate and Destiny. It all falls into the realm of spirituality, because it requires some form of cosmic ordering i.e. some intelligent control, or moral barometer and arbiter. So it's intrinsically linked to FAITH - belief without proof. As I'm not a religious person, I don't have this mindset, I can't believe something like this without reasonable evidence.

It's a nice idea, but I think it acts like a comfort blanket; it makes the awful aspects of the world more tolerable if you believe those guilty will be perfectly punished. That's not the flawless world I live in.

as an explaination for the many levels of heaven and hell in th aftrlife then yes.

Karma exists for me but not for others >:(

Think of yourself in a situation in which if someone does bad to you or others would you or others just let him go may be you would but someday when he meets a person like him he shall taste his own medicine. Good people who live good always are happy actually besides the luxury they are happy from inside, as no one shall do bad tot hem as they have not done to anyone. would you do bad to good think for yourself whom would you do bad too if you had to?
Comment Hidden (show)
i know it doesn't actually exist, like a force or something like that, but being positive will have positive results, same story with being negative, that's what i believe.

michaels4p5
Yes i do.
Comment Hidden (show)
Hell yeah I believe! What goes around comes around. As you reap so shall you sow. Whatever you do comes back to you. Whichever way you say it there is Karma. Even if you don't believe in a god, God believes in you. There is balance in the universe.

Karma is good.
But
I also beleave in REVENGE
Comment Hidden (show)
I think Karma does exist.

Whenever we don't get things in return for something we did before, it's usually because something extemely good or bad will happen to you a long time down the road.

That's just me though.
