This isn't the usual post about whether you like cats or dogs or both, it's about dislike. I'm interested in seeing what proportion of people actively 'dislike' cats and dogs and their reasons for doing so.
If you're a cat or dog lover, I'll give you options in the poll (because I love both and know that I'd want to comment), but this really isn't aimed at us.

I'd say dogs are more intelligent hunters (because a pack mentality requires thoughts above just the selfish instinct) whereas cats are more instinctive hunters (which they can afford to be because they are more agile and have a more complete set of hunting skills than dogs). For higher functions that can be learned, cats don't rate that well intelligence-wise.
Although, of course, there's more to an animal than hunting. Especially domesticated animals.
like kitties
None of them are the problem so far, now it's my foal (chold horse) that is becoming a pain.
I hate both. There, does that help?
Here's some ice to put on that butthurt.
For the record, I'm both a dog and cat lover and pretty much any animal you could name.
My family have always had Jack Russells, friends of the family have Akitas, and my own friend has a Shih-Tzu. I think they're all fantastic! Especially the Akitas. They're like cuddly lions!
Cats are ok.
