I'm a slow runner, always have been and always will be. However, I run every night for the fun of it and to keep myself in shape. When it concerns the muscle tone of my body, I'm not too ashamed of it. I may not have Jacob's body, but I'm capable of doing some sit-ups and push-ups. However, I will say that I'm small in stature and am immensely jealous of tall people.
"Have you ever died and gone to hell." That was really funny. Doesn't sound so bad. I'm glad that the orphanage you went to wasn't like how they're portrayed in Futurama or Oliver Twist.
if you're jogging or running at a steady pace you are building slow-twitch muscle, which helps you go farther but not faster. If you want to be fast, sprint because it builds fast-twitch muscles. It's a faster workout too, which I like.
Thanks but I do a little sprinting also. When I reach the last 100yards I run until my legs are numb. Although sprinting is a shorter workout, running long distance is kind of peaceful. I can't describe it other than runner's high.
Do you feel ashamed of your (weak) body?
