Do you find it funny that Disney makes better evil/dark music?

Do you find it funny that Disney makes better songs about being "evil", "dark", and "malicious" than most of these goth, emo, and screamo bands can?
For example, The huntch back of Notre dame's villain song "Hellfire". It's about howthe villain believes that he should have a woman, and if he can't, then she should suffer.
It is in my opinion that Disney outdoes all these bands trying to sing about evil things, and are simply better at it.
Do you agree? Do you think Disney makes better "evil/dark/malicious" songs fortheir villains than these bands make?

Hellfire. No song can compete with that. Unfair.

Disney tried the whole musical broadway inspired music thing. It tends to be much deeper. It probably hit's people in the heart more. The ideal villain is one that relates to the audience.

I may be out of touch with what Goth has become but it was never about evil. It was more about embracing the bleak because you care too much.

Then again, what do I know? Fifteen hundred years ago they were marauding through Italy and I get the strong impression they weren't listening to The Cure on their iPods while they did it.

I don't think so... it's not his writing style and I don't think he would make up such poll!

Oh and he has a better spelling =P

Don't know, haven't listened to many "evil" Disney songs. That would be funny though (not in the hilarious way, but the funny/odd kinda way).

I think that Disney has better writers. So yes, I agree they write better.

Most bands copy one another, it is hard to find originality in the music industry.
I don't find it that funny. But kind of.

No, when I read Cannibal Corpse lyrics I believe I'm reading the ramblings of a genuine psychopath.

Hellfire is a fucking awesome. It's easy to see how someone could think any song is inferior to Hellfire :)

Wait another 10-20 years, then see what kind of MOVIES they put out then.

I have to agree. Their villain songs were almost always kickass. Hellfire is downright scary. The scariness comes from the imagery while the song itself is awesome.

"Friends on the Other Side" (The Frog Princess) I can't remember exactly how good it might have been but that scene freaked me out.
