You just made me regret not being on Facebook any more. Your post made me think about waiting until my birthday, getting all the good wishes then waiting six weeks and updating my birthday to be six weeks in the future (three months after my actual birthday). And then keep doing it so I get four birthdays a year.
I wonder who many people I'd catch out and how many would catch on to the fact that I seem to have an awful lot of birthdays.
Well I was told by a reliable source that dappled was the funniest, most honest commentor ever to IIN. This source was also female if that makes you feel any better!
Well, modesty aside, IIN is a bit like a cult. If the word goes around about someone, lots of other people seem to believe it. I've had little followings in other places but not like what happened here. It was nuts!
When I got my account back, I had a look back at old posts. Occasionally there was a good one but I genuinely couldn't believe how boring I sounded on most. IIN is swarming with funny, intelligent people at the moment and it's nice just to be a face in the crowd again. :)
I can imagine that someone with as much of a "cult following" would almost find it difficult to give honest opinions without everybody looking at yours first! You generally have a lot of solid content in your posts though, enough to make me stop and read them most every time, so I understand the attention.
