1. Racism came from humanity's earliest days when we were starting to organize into tribes. Xenophobia would be needed or you would be attacked by one of the other tribes. In modern society these xenophobic tendencies manifest as racism, religious discrimination, and intelligence discrimination*.
*intelligence discrimination refers to looking down on the uneducated and the uneducated thinking that the educated are 'pussies'
2. Homophobia is not simple xenophobia. The worlds population was once reduced to 10,000** people. We unfortunately still disencourage anything that keeps a person from reproduction.

3. We are beginning to mock people who don't have sex. This is for the same reason above.
4. We are instinctively encouraged to do drugs. I don't know why, but other animals actually do get high. And we have cannibinoid receptors.
Can't we step past these things? We are not in tribes any more. The world's population is TOO HIGH. We need 'lonely virgins' and we need homosexuals. We need to legalize marijuana and shrooms because we are instinctively driven to use drugs and we are going to get it from much more dangerous sources like METH!

Lots of funny jokes depend on racism, and some not funny ones require weed to be funny.
2) I disagree that homophobia is in any way genetic (which it would have to be for evolutionary psychology to apply), because there have been a variety of cultures in which homosexuality was/is completely accepted.
3) Since chastity has been praised for centuries, that doesn't really make sense.
