ahh whatever i'll spare one point. take a lion for example. it is in the lion's nature to hunt and kill. it makes the lions' personallity very agressive yet it does not attack any humans.
it doesn't need to. the humans feed it, and it is not in a lions' nature to be fed yet it still directly effects the personallity of the lion. no longer in need of hunting and killing the lion abandons his nature and thus nurture has conquored nature.
Besides, if a primal lion can over come nature then our highly developed consious minds can't?
seems to me that human nature is more like human culture but i should write a book about it instead of blabbering.
I'm open to correction, I did this shit years ago.
There's also a well-respected longitudinal study of personality that has been going on for the past fifty years and the results are showing that the Big Five personality traits stay fairly consistent over a lifetime.
naive jolly kid;
grumpy old man.
From http://www.temperament.com/temperament.comfaqs.html
Sorry, I'm too tired and lazy to look into this properly right now :/
Basically, temperament is innate characteristics.
i just remember being happy and naive once. now i'm just grumpy and naive.
Once medical reasons for child #2's behaviours are ruled out, that's put down to temperament. IE child #1 has an 'easy' temperament and child #2 has a 'difficult' temperament.
That's not to say that child #1 will be a ray of sunshine and child #2 will be a grumpy cunt their whole lives, just that child #1 will be more predispositioned to adjust well to situations etc.
I think. I literally just woke up, so yeah...
This is why some people who work in the social sciences, like to study identical twins separated at birth.
Also, there are some genetic traits that re-exhibit themselves, after skipping a generation, meaning your grandparents might have had these (dominant genes), but possibly not your parents (recessive genes).
I have been told by numerous Professors that we are all born with a certain temperament, but our personality as a whole is shaped greatly by the particular set of genes we have and the triggers in our environment that bring them out.
if you don't like rap, it's okay. you can't help it you were born that way. i saw yo pictcha in the news. your ugly mug gave me the blues. it looked all twisted and deformed. at your picture we did mourn. you stuck your nose up at a whole sub-culture. now they're going to fuck your mother.
so if we see you strutting with a limp... it's not because your bad it's cuz you got your ass kicked. acted like you were better than everyone so we took you downtown, tossed you aroun, beat your pale ass until you couldn't get up the groun.
you see me rap and you start to judge me. but i'm not the fucking wigga you thought i ought to be. so leave the white boys alone who want to be black, it's not cool that you talk way too much smack. be disrepectful to me and i'll treat you with a whack.
i bet after reading this you think you're better than me. but i know that could never be, i've been rapping like this since i was three. and i'll break your mother fucking knee. i'll use the bat break you up on your mat. i learned to ryhme from reading the cat in the hat.
