Looks are a superficial layer, like wrapping paper. Personality is much more important. The sort of girl i'm looking for is rare. I like the strange, nerdy ones. Preferably someone who shares my intrest in weapons and someone i can watch movies with. In the end its hard to find someone compatible with your specific needs.
Especially when the other halves are probably self conscious about showing their geeky/strange ways, to begin with anyway. :)
Though I have to say, last year when I went to see Scott Pilgrim vs. The World; the auditorium was full to the brim with folk and when everyone was laughing in unison at the geeky jokes I was like, "These are dorks, like me! :D," and started eying up all the nerdy lads that passed, haha!
As a guy myself I need a girl that has personality. Someone that can cheer me up and make me laugh at myself. I agree looks are important too but not as important as someone I can get along with.
I'm not even a guy and I know that a hot body will always attract a guy first. The other choices are more long-term determinants. If that wasn't true there wouldn't be the term "butter face".
It's a bit of a combination. Let's be honest. When a man spots a woman the first attraction will always be to a physical trait. Blonde, brunette, petite, thick, racial or ethnic, whatever. Later on the personality factors will become more important.
I said looks cause it's separate from hot body, and I'd like to define the distinction (in my mind) here: Looks (for me) is like how a girl moves, the little things she does, it encompasses her "look", her face, her body type (many body types can work if the girl is comfortable in hers). Girls always attract me with the little ways they move that make them unique and cute. I tend to overlook other stuff for that.
Personality is most important, though there is a certain level of ugly that even the best personality couldn't make me get over. Aside from that, style does a hell of a lot more to make me attracted to a girl than her body does.
who cares about style? looks are important, but more important is that they share my dislike for authority and lack of religion.. i don't like judging by religion, but i get along with atheists so much better.
A nice, open-minded girl who share many of my intresets. Intellegence would be great, even if she is smarter than me.(Challenge!) Kinda nerdy would be cool, as im a gamer. Looks arent the most important thing, but they cant be too ugly, and a little extra weight is fine. they cant be 400 pounds though.
Why isn't "all of the above" on the list? They all go hand in hand. If a girl just has a good personality but is ugly as fuck, then sex wont be as enjoyable. Or if she is all hot body and no good personality, then the relationship will suck dick. A middle ground is necessary

well i made the poll and i would say personality, but looks play a big part in it aswell though they shouldn't really matter. women with nice bodies with ugly faces and personalities get used by guys purely for their bodies. i was just interested in what the majority of guys would choose, but if i was a guy i would say personality.
