I think the second series was rushed, the first time I watched it, I felt like I had barely any time to get to know Mello and Near as characters. Second time round, I liked it more though.
As for the live action films, I have them on dvd but I would take the manga or anime over them anyday. Although the actor of L is really good I think, it's a tough role I imagine :P XD*
Yeah I think that too. There was only 37 episodes, if they had done atleast 50, everything would have been better. More time to get to know side charaters.
Haha, I would take the anime over the movie anyday also. Ryuk was just creepy in the movie.
Psychological anime are always fun. Death Note was a really interesting and suspenseful series. I would recommend Gantz to anyone who enjoyed it. It is a very different series, but nonetheless a great one. Especially if you enjoy books/movies similar to Battle Royale.
I haven't seen it; anime in general isn't my sort of thing. A few of my friends are huge anime fans though, and they think it's awesome. They tried to explain it to me but I couldn't see the appeal personally.
Watched all the series, read the spin off novels they made, did a book report on it, own a death note notebook, watched all the movies and had an L plushie but gave it to a friend. I have never read the manga though it would seem redundant as I already know how it ends. Was going to cosplay but I cant find a proper light.
I also watched the movies made in Japan or something with real actors.. I just have no comment.
