Depends. If I have something on my mind, it mighttake 2-3 hours to fall asleep. If I'm just going to bed with nothing extremely important to think about, it will take 5-30 minutes.
I always put music on while I sleep, and I usually listen to about 10 tracks (about 4 minutes length each) before I nod off, so usually it takes me about 40 mins.
its usually one extreme or the other. If i doing something else, like using my phone, ill fall asleep almost instantly, if i am doing nothing, about 3 hours. If somethings on my mind, im up till eight the next morning.
I'de say about 10-15 minutes. I always know when I'm about to sleep because I start dreaming while still conscious. At that point I know I will be sleeping within the next minute or so.
It sometimes takes me, say, I got to bed around 2:00 or 3:00, about an hour or so to get into deep REM sleep, then I get up at about 5:00 or 6:00 am, just naturally. So, about an hour/ hour and a half.
It used to take me an hour or two to fall asleep each night. Around the time I got into high school, the time dropped to a few minutes. It probably has something to do with me staying up very late nowadays, though.
When i was young about 10 years old when i would go to sleep i close my eyes but never fall asleep i didnt go asleep for 3 days straight i was going to do a 2011 world record book challenge but my mom said i needed my rest so i need medicine to make me fall asleep not anymore since i grew out of it
Couple of minutes, I think about the girl I love, my family and what I've done wrong during that particular day but I don't dwell on it because by that time I'm already comatose.
Unfortunately, I'm an insomniac and can't sleep for a good amount of hours after the time I should. For instance when I should be going to bed at 10 P.M., I stay up until the next day and go to bed around 11 A.M., when everybody is waking up.
If I'm thinking about someone I like it takes me 30 min. - 1 hour (only 1 person), and I just think about life, what I did today, or in the past, or what I'll do in the future- It takes me 30 min. - 1 hour.
