This isn't the kind of information that I normally like to share because of how bad it makes me look, but I had a rough couple of weeks detoxing off of opiates and there was no way in hell you could've gotten me out of bed, let alone in the shower. Also, I've heard from other people that being on Methadone makes people react to water kind of like cats. I've definitely found this to be true for me. When I was on the clinic, I detested water, especially in the shower -- for some reason it felt super uncomfortable.
Of course I showered anyway, but God did it feel bad. Odd.
