I think the world would be better if SMART PEOPLE were in control.

It would be perfect if they had equal representation in politics, not just one over the other.

That's right! Its time for me to demand a sammich, clean laundry, housekeeping, child rearing, errand running, and a shag on command! Do it damn it!

If women ruled the world there would be no wars, just a bunch of jealous countries not talking to each other.

As someone who follows politics I can tell you that female politicians can be just as corrupt and crooked as male politicians.

It takes both. One is not better than the other. We need both perspectives to create a balanced world.

In many ways women do control some aspects of the world. Suggesting that one sex does more good than bad and the other the reverse is pretty simplistic and ignorant. I'd worry for more about the character of the people in power than the genitalia.

Power is what drove men to their insanity. Wouldn't it do the same to women?

I mean, 'almost' everyone is pretty insane, but they don't have the power to express it like the people in power do...

Or... Maybe I'm wrong about all of that...

Just so you know, I'm the OP. This was basically a test to the community and to assure myself that I am doing right, to see if women actually believe in equality, and the outcome doesn't suprise me.

Tell me again how me telling facts not in the female gender's favour is more sexist than women saying their gender would be better ruling?

The problem with politicians isn't their gender, but that they are politicians. There are as many bad female politicians as male ones (percentage wise) in the government of my country. Just because men have traditionally held higher posts doesn't mean that men are intrinsically any worse at running a country.

I've long held the view that government should be representative of the people it governs (but not to the extent where you start excluding outstanding people based on gender or ethnic background). In my country, control should be 51% women and 49% men with an ethnic background representative this country's ethnic make-up. You don't have to be anal about it, though. It's just a guideline. If you have nine Afro-Carribbean politicians instead of ten, it's no biggie.

I reckon it's possible. But mainly because women build better homes/family and they're really concerned with everything associated with that. Sooo , they'd probably actually put some thought into it before starting wars or polluting the place into oblivion , the long term survival of planet and people. I'd take that over economics any day which I reckon , although men do make a mess off , they'd do it better than women.
One other point , women are always moaning about the lack of women in this job or that job . But has anybody ever f'n realized that in those cases , there are usually far less women trying to get into those jobs, check the numbers . I honestly can never believe that angle is never mentioned.

I don't think it's going to really matter. Maybe it will be a bit different, but homo-sapiens are homo-sapiens, and no matter who is in control of it, there's going to be positives and negatives.

Im a female and I disagree only because women are very emotinol they would do things because they fell it is right not because of the facts i surly would not mind it but i like male perspecives better then wemens. And no i am not lezbo i am perfectly happily married

have you heard a phrase "fifty fifty" i think they both need to work together ....
qualities, physiques, capabilities , intelligence e.t.c differ... and if all of them contribute from the best of their side then this can be much much better place..

may be at the moment you have a bad point about men in your mind but don't forget females too have a dark side.. even females can be corrupt, irresponsible and incapable ... just because of some people you cannot make up a general view ... there are many men if you look up who have really changed the whole world... like Nelson Mandela and others who have caused such great positive change... and their also have been many who just ruined states..!!
