Is it normal to prefer nice over intellectual?

I noticed that some guys go out with not the smartest girls ever, but they have a great personality. I don't think there's nothing wrong with this. As long as they have respect for others, a good citizen, and not dumb. A lot of girls not only feel the pressure to look good but also to be smart. There are some intimidating, intellectual girls out there and those are the ones I'm talking about when comparing them to nice girls but not as smart as them. Girls don't have to feel pressure to be incredibly smart, just as long as they're not dumb. A nice, average smart girl is fine to me. What do you guys prefer?

Of course everyone is going to choose the first option. The only reason I took the last one is because picking the first option feels like cheating.

You're right. I kind of meant it to sound like "unrealistic" with the exclamation mark even though, there are some girls who carry the whole package. Really, I expected people to concentrate on the last two but hey I'm still getting a lot of people agree with me with the second choice :)

People admire that which most resembles themselves. The courageous man admires the courageous, the comedic, comedy. It's only natural that you'd gravitate towards a trait you probably share.

But for me, neither holds much value. I've seen too many "intelligent" people be destroyed by what little they're ignorant of and kindness is overrated as some of the worst deeds perpetuated in human history were done with the intent of good will.

I'm happy either way. I'm good with women who are more intelligent than me but I don't want to bore them. I'd feel horrible if I bored someone.

As long as the girl is intelligent to hold a conversation, and not sound like a goof ball all the time, then it doesn't matter to me what her IQ is. I just like girls who have personalities that vibe with me. Goofy and comedic!

I like my girls with high ACADEMIC intelligence, as in she is dedicated in school and scores good grades. Something about that shows innocence, yet strong mindset. But to be honest I don't care for her to have a lot of PHILOSOPHICAL intelligence. I'd like her to be just average here, not sure why
