I promise you that it wasn't me that erased it. I don't even have the power to erase it. This sometimes happens to me on stories and I sometimes get the idea someone deleted it, but they haven't. If you re-type your comment, it probably won't happen again. I think the site glitches sometimes.
I'm under the impression that this happens when someone clicks "report" in the comment box. I've posted a poll about it just now. Maybe I'm wrong, but in any case, perhaps it will motivate the moderators to fix this "glitch". It's really, really pissing me off, and I generally don't get pissed off very easily.

Depending if you've made alot of comments after that one, the comment should probably still be on your comments list on your profile.
