Should I be worried about my brother and his father?

I have a 15 year old brother, and we both have different dads. My little brother Jimmy goes with his dad once a week every saturday. My brothers father has been a heroin addict since Jimmy was born, and he is torn up about it, but he also never shares his feelings. My father died a month before I was born but I had my mom's boyfriend as a father figure but my brother HATES him.

Jimmy's father has been in and out his life for a long time due to his drug problem, and he hasn't picked up Jimmy in a month. This usually happens when he starts doing heroin(stops sobriety). I hate seeing my little bro sad, angry, and dissapointed. So IIN, should I be worried for my little brother and his father?

Be there for him, but don't interfer. For some, a lousy drug-addicted biological father is better that having no father at all. You have a replacement, a step-father, and you have excepted him as such, but that doesn't mean your little brother must as well, especially since his biological father is still living.

Be there when he needs you but fuck his dad. He needs a new father figure.
