I have one active (personal) Twitter account and a currently inactive (professional - for jobseking) one right now.
I freely admit I have been known to get into some fights and say some volatile things on the personal one, and am going to delete my account once I get to the next hundred of Tweets.
What I am consiering doing is having one that's just for jobseeking (which I will keep as my 'professional' Twitter once I have found a job) and a personal one.
I may have two personal accounts - one where I am nice and one where I can do my fighting (against homophobes, ATOS, Workfare, discrimination, chavs, evangelical nutjobs and the like).
OR I may just have one, where I have to try and keep any urge to fight those who I feel deserve it to a minimum and be nice all the time.
o you have any advice?

You actually get to see people be more creative and funny on there than Facebook
Maybe you should consider getting a blog or something for personal matters and just keep your professional Twitter account? Just an idea.
I keep a paper diary and write in it when I remember to (which isn't as often as I think I need)...wondering whether it'd be worthwhile buying one this late in the year...
For a combined account - why?
What would the pros and cons of each be; what about your experience/the experience of other friends?
Those things are all very true, but only a small part of what my previous Twets - than haven't been fighting or political things!! - have actually involved.
