Batman: Arkham Asylum! :D Or, the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection. But I really, really , really want you to buy Batman!
There are some many awesome and amazing things about this game. I won't tell you anything because you have not played it yet and I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Arkham Asylum, has everything that makes a videogame a masterpiece! The controls, the soundtrack, and the story line are all in perfect harmony. And it has extreme replay value!
Please buy it? And then buy Arkham City right after you beat Arkham Asylum. Please?! I promise you will not be disappointed. ^_^
Devil May Cry 4, is not that good and the replay value is low. In my opinion. Deus Ex, I haven't beat that game yet. I'm still working on it :P It is kind of boring and it reminds me of Bioshock (just not as good) too much. I wish I didn't buy it on release day. You should rent Bioshock 2 before you buy it because it is not as great as the first one at all. I found that out after I spent a $100 on it :\
I wouldn't even consider Darksiders or Brink if I were you. At least rent them first. Don't make the same mistake I made... I don't know much about the other games.
If you don't buy Batman. Buy Castlevania: Lords of Shadow or Dead Space.
I can mostly agree with that ^_^ I am not gaming as much as i used to during my teenage days, but now and then i still like playing a bit.
I, too, wasn't too fond of Devil May Cry, glad i just borrowed it from a friend.
As for Deus Ex: You should give it another try. I am old enough to have played the first, and never could do it without killing someone. So i decided to try it in Human Revolution. I'm just playing on and off, but up to now i managed to play completely without killing someone(just knocking people out), that makes the game a lot more enjoyable than just running and gunning.
Ico and and Shadow collection i also liked.
Heavy Rain was interesting, but ultimately, i never got to do another playthrough, i played it together with my partner, we watched each other and tried to play the characters differently, but ultimately, too little changed depending on our actions.
Batman, i wanted to try for a while. your post kind of made me remember that :)
Off of OP's list I would like to play Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Mortal Kombat, L.A. Noire, and Uncharted 3.
I can't wait to play Heavy Rain, and I hope it is as good as everyone says it is. I don't like replaying a game that's not worth the time or the effort, though.
Hahaha! XD I'm just thinking about the way I play Deus Ex Human Revolution. :D I am killing them without guns. But sometimes it gets so hard I have to bust a cap. So I'll have to replay it twice, once without killing and the second without guns. I can't wait to play the first one. ^_^
You'll be so pleased with Batman: Arkham Asylum! I encourage you to play it ASAP!
ya, with heavy rain, as said, it's fun, but, in case that didn't come across proper, we didn't play ONE playthrough together, we each did our own and just watched the other...and played vastly differently.
Still, the outcome was mostly the same. One exacmple below(one scene, not like, "outcome")
------ SPOILER WARNING(Minor one, but still) There is one scene where you have to hurt yourself. I panicked and did so right away, then was very slow and broken in the next scene. My partner looked around better and found stuff like antiseptica, a hot iron to cauterize the wound, alcohol to drink before...but still she was exactly the same as me in the following scene, the only difference was an achievement and it was never mentioned again or had any different long-term effects. SPOILER END ------
As for the list, i'd probably like L.A.Noire, Portal 2 and maybe Red Dead Redemption. Aside from the obvious Batman stuff ;)
Depends what you rather like but MW3 is the worst CoD ever said by so many people and I really don't like the maps... the graphics aren't better than MW2 etc. so if you are a graphic whore and like a realistic game you should rather buy BF3... BUT I think MW3 still is more fun so you have to decide yourself I think...
I am pretty interested in the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, because I never got to play it the first time around on the ps2, and I remember their was lots of hype about them when they came out.
Thank you for your descriptions and recommendations too :)
$100! That's way too much for a videogame!
Darksiders might be alright, but Brink was recommended to me as a terrible game, so I definitely won't be getting it.
And you already know who I am, there is no need to guess. Thank you for asking though :P
The hype over the two WAS and still IS much deserved! :D
It was the collectors edition. The case is beautiful and the record is, awesome! I love the posters too, but the game itself didn't make me as happy as the first one did. But it is still a very good game. Yes, paying $100 for it is too much and it hurt my feelings a little. :|
I laughed when I read what ItDuz said about Brink XD! He's absolutely right, though. Don't buy it ever! Killzone 2 is way better than Sti-.. I mean 'Brink' will ever be.
Yes I do know and I thought that would be funny :P You're welcome for everything OP.

Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na...Batman! :D
OP, do you mind if I guess who you are?

"I don't like replaying a game that's not worth the time or the effort, though." Because not much does change :)
But thank you for clearing it up. ^_^
And of course I had to read the spoiler. Thanks for the warning too.
I left out Red Dead Redemption. I hear the game is awesome so I think I'll try it soon.
It has been my favorite game for about 2 years I think...
But for now I'm playing Cod: MW3 and BF3^^ Oh and I downloaded an emulator for my mobile phone again to play Pokémon <3
I am dying to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 :D I just have so many other games to knock of my list before I can.
Thank you for your descriptions and recommendations too :)
