I go for reliability and solid craftsmanship; only German companies tend to think about both. If it's for reliability alone go for Japanese. (This is considering everyday cars and not supercars)
I always buy German made cars, reliable cars that do last you a last time. Even their washing machines are built to last. I'm glad the Germans (in general) have at all cost kept their strong belief in reliable and quality unlike alot of (including mine) countries who opted for cost efficiency. But than again we can't always blame the companies for making such a move when we as the consumer have the power of the dollar.
You have to be careful with that. Mercedes-Benz went through a terrible period five or six years ago where their internal cost-cutting exercises led to reliability issues. They're back on track now, but they really did drop down to the foot of the reliability table temporarily.
Lol I misread this as what country makes the best cats. I thought you were one helluva weirdo. Anywhose ill answer the real question with I enjoy British cars. Im.a sucker for a nice m.g
Japan. I hate American pieces of shit they call cars. Chevy and Ford drivers are in denial they're fixing their 'cars' every day. God I hate American cars!
If it's for reliability alone go for Japanese.

I guess there's some irony to it now though.
Because America has big ass trucks and suvs that kick ass against all those European ass pussy shittard little turd cars.
Oh, and i disagree.
And who'd have thought the British could build this:

The Noble M600. Faster round a track than a Bugatti Veyron.
There is a reason why the first car was made in Germany :D
