If this is anything like the Yahoo Answers and YouTube comments section, then there's probably going to be that one person that whines about how their new stuff isn't as good as their old stuff.
I am actually a huge Linkin Park fan, even though it seems like I am completely alone in that! I love Hybrid Theory, best album they ever made. (I still like the new stuff, i'm not that guy that bitches about how the old stuff was much better lolz)
I like their album that really revolutionizes music in an aesthetically pleasing way - the one that basically rivals the Beatles in inventive artistry and Beethoven in its ethereal melodic composition? You know, the one that doesn't exist.
Linking Park was the first band I've listened to when I was younger. I know all there songs by heart along with the lyrics to them too. But I don't listen to they're new stuff.
The first album I ever bought was Hybrid Theory ha and I really liked it. It was perfect music for me when I was 11. The album art is really cool too.
I still have a soft spot for the songs off it because they were part of my childhood. I don't listen to them anymore really (except that one track Cure For The Itch which is an instrumental Hip Hop masterpiece) and I doubt they'll ever make anything new I like. But hey, I think they've stuck solidly to their sound and I actually think they're pretty unique.
It's accessible pop-rock / numetal that appeals to young teens.

Listened to Minutes to Midnight only once and not even heard A Thousand Suns.
Apparently, they're releasing a new album and/or song later this year.
