My actual all time favorite villain is 80's Skeletor though. Gone are the wonderful days when a Christmas Special has the villain telling children his favorite present would explode.

I would say the joker. Not the joker in the classic comic book sense, or even old movies sense. But the Heath Ledger joker is one of the best villain portrayals and one of the most convincing characters I have ever seen. He was able to become so much of the character he was playing that he made the entire movie by himself! Absolutely amazing!

Totally agree. It's just ashame that he never got to see his magnificent performance. I can't imagine anyone playing The Joker in future films and topping Heath's performance.

Aww, I have the biggest soft spot for Loki. I always thought he was misunderstood and that he wanted to be part of things but opinion ranged against him and he became an outsider.
