We pay a lot of attention to keeping minorities happy. Should we pay more attention to bringing people into the fold and making sure they aren't minorities but part of something bigger that we can all subscribe to?

For example, in my area, a few years ago, we experienced a huge influx of Chaldeans. In their culture, women are inferiors and not allowed to have social relationships with men. The Chaldean parents came to the school that many of my fellow church goers work at and demanded that their daughters sit apart from the males. This isn't a commonly accepted practice here and the teachers basically had to tell them "our country, our rules". It was difficult because they don't accept female authority.
In another area that I grew up in, many hispanics moved in and in their culture, everyone cared for each other's children, no question. Understandably, the citizen tenants became angry that the children were running loose unsupervised and their parents were angry that the tenants did.not keep an eye on them.
Cultures contradict and beliefs contradict and it is not an easy task to decide who is right and who is wrong and who should and shouldn't give up their values for the good of the whole. And that's the problem. Everyone knows that they are right, many have a valid argument for it too. If we incorporated the beliefs of every minority, we would be forcing ourselves to live by standards that we despise, and if we incorporated the minority we would harm them in that manner as well.
Would the world be better without minorities? I will not speculate. Diversity can be a wonderful thing, but at the same time, I believe that there can be a common ground made that we can all stand on without harming eah other, but that would require EVERYONE to let go of their preconceived notions, of their prejudiced and closed mindedness and to educate themselves to do so and be open to discussion without sensitivity and without having to be the only person willing to compromise.
Everyone would have to be identical, and I can't think of anything more boring. Not everybody wants to "subscribe" to the majority, and they shouldn't have to. This is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. Ever.
Seriously, just no!
So if you weren't doing that on purpose, I'll reclaim the "troll" title from you, lol.
However, now I'm fascinated -what were your reasons?
Like, think of an animal that's not a dog. What did you think of? A cat? Sorry. The answer was giraffe.
Where do i say YOU were trolling?
I wrote that because you were called a troll by somone else and i disagreed, but how are you so dumb you didn't even get that?
To answer your basic question, life in theory would be easier if everybody was like you. But that's an impossibility, variety is inevitable, differences are inevitable, not everybody can ever be 'brought into the fold'.
Ultimately minorities are part of something bigger - the human race.
Everyone is "bioengineered" and individuality is seen as a dangerous notion against society, etc. You should read the book, but be warned it's somewhat "disturbing".
They're like fucking locusts.
If you mean Blacks, then the answer is yes, the world would be much better off overall without them. Harsh, but true.
Basically, they shouldn't be treated the same because they're not the same.
But, if black people are not the same as white people, then white people are not the same as black people. It's the same, isn't it?
Look, I'm only concerned with telling the truth; if it offends somebody, that's just too bad.
Btw, your username cracks me up for some reason.
You see, this proves that it's not possible to reason with "anti-racists." So forget it - screw all of you. If you people were attempting to have a decent, civilized conversation with me, you've failed miserably. This is just not worth my time. I'm out of here.
Bitches! >:P
Fact: if all Blacks were to disappear from this planet and be replaced by Whites, the world would drastically improve literally overnight. Sure, we may lose a handful of decent, productive Blacks like yourself in the process, but that is literally totally beside the point. This is not hate; this is fact.
Now a question for you, sir or ma'am: I'm assuming you're living in a Western country; with that said, would you be open to the prospect of moving to a heavily Black area such as sub-Saharan Africa? If your answer is no, please explain why.
