Would you like it if there was a 'hit count' on the polls and stories?

In case you don't know what a hit count is, it's a count of how many times the page has been visited.

That way, you'd know if your poll was visited often but not commented on much (or at all), or if it was really, really popular-more popular than the comments could possibly reveal. Or anything in between!!

It would be interesting. Sometimes a page has more comments than votes and I find that strange unless the question was not asked well.

I don't really see the point :/ I'd rather this site remained as uncluttered as possible.

You know how many people vote, you know how many people comment, why does the number of people viewing really matter?

Effectively, there is. A certain percentage of people looking at a story will comment on it. Therefore (unless your story flatters to deceive), the number of comments is commensurate to what the hit count would be.

I think there should be an option for the poll creators' to show everyone their answer to the poll and highlight it

It could be pretty interesting to see the amount of hits a story gets, in comparison to how many votes and how many comments!

Thats sounds nice. I get kind of upset when I see only one comment on my post so it would be nice to know people took the time to read my post.

It might be interesting, but it's kind of pointless. I like the fact that this site is different from other sites like Facebook. Adding it might start negative competition between the users, "My story has more hits than yours",etc.
