I’d pick the elderly. I could – and do -- talk about music with them. Quite a lot of my older male relatives love older music (blues/folk/rock) and I grew up loving it too so we'd probably have a lot in common. If I didn't like it because I got too upset I could do other jobs, but I bet they'd be gutted if/when I left.
Not every care facility is like that. The media makes you think they are. I am disabled myself and have had experience of one that was totally unsuitable and one that was unusually good.
