I do it every day all day long. Every night my eyes are swollen and blood shot. It's terrible. I can't stop. Have you ever tried to stop' I know this sounds crazy but I was trying to think of a way from block my hands to getting to my eyes. For example, maybe putting on elbow braces or something. I seriously don't know what else to do. I started out being addicted to picking eye "strings"(only mine though)That led to eye infections, one right after the other.Now I'm going to the eye docter at least once a week,because, of course with infection comes LOTS of stuff to have to get out of your eye. I'm currently on 2 antibiotics,wearing a contac lense bandage,and have no eyelashes on one eye. I'm absolutely MISERABLE!!!The doc told me last visit that he was concerned, because the eye socket could get infected, and potentially cause death!That scared me for a couple of hours. Then right back to picking the underside of my eyelid.....for hours at a time!!!! I'm too embarrassed to tell him the whole truth.So whenever you pick your crusties,remember,crusties are the "gateway" eye habit.
