school solutions/ opinons
well id like to adress the way public schools are run. i personally am against public school not schooling but public school. i believe that public scool is a social meat grinder forceing the population to conform to governmental ideas. i am botherd that high school students exspecially seniors (young men) have to ask to use the bathroom. so please state opinons and ideas of ways to fix the school problem.

The english curriculum in Australian public schools is really good. You know its good when the government doesn't like it. It's all about social and political awareness. Which also explains why you guys think were all over-opinionated arseholes, we're taught it in school. About asking to go to the toilet... you have to do that in private schools too. Im a senior boy and I dont mind, It's general courtesy.

I completely agree with you. Public schools are only assimilation camps run by the government, forcing kids to follow the governmental ideals and societal norms.

Don't know what what state ur from, but if ur from Victoria, we have all our texts, movies, etc. relating to family values! yeah, that's right, we have to somehow warp the likes of "Aliens" and the "Usual Suspects" into showing plausible "family values", it probs can be done, but how the fuck r u meant to write about family values, every single fucking time?!

Another thing id like to add is that it is against the rules in school to drink soda at lunch. Since when was it the governments place to decide what a students diet should be I personally believe in freedom and democracy not dictatorship.

I am not against public school- wtf kind of crap idea is it to get rid of them entirely? Everyone would have to pay go to private school.

And personally, I have been to 3 private schools, and ALL of them are pushing their own agendas.

So try to facilitate improvments on a good idea- not throw away a system because you feel it conforms...

Well it's a complicated issue. I personally think that many public schools are archaic at best. What's being taught is irrelevant and sometimes downright useless in today's world. Schools need to keep up with the technology boom, and they are failing miserably. That's just my two-cents though
