Barry Bonds vs Hank Aaron

I had no idea that it was not a fact that Bonds took steroids. Why does everyone including the sports writers keep saying he did? Very odd.
Aaron must think Bonds has been using too. I never thought Aaron was arogant ever. I have heard a lot of people say that when Bonds breaks the record it will not count because of the steroid use, so lots of people are not going to be there.

Use of steroids is widespread in baseball and has been going on since the early 90s, making all these record breaking statistics meaningless. Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Jose Canseco, Barry Bonds, Rafael Plameiro are some of the big names who have used steroids throughout their career.

Baseball does absolutely nothing to put a stop to steroid use and not a single player has been disciplined for use of steroids, NOT ONE!!!! Baseball does not care about anything other than making money, they have no integrity.

i actually think both Aaron and Bonds are idiots. They're both egotistical bastards. One is in conflict becausesomeone else is gonna break his record. the other is a cheater and is going to get the record with the "Steroids" stigma attached to his name when he gets to the Hall of Fame. I still however cannot wait until he breaks the record because after all, it is a great feat. I mean you can't take away Barry Bond's ability as a homerun hitter. Its not like Steroids was the magic drug that made him hit all those homers. Yeah...

Think it would be interesting to see if Aaron himself didn't use a little magical juice when he was hittimg those homeruns. I think The Babe is still the greatest and neither one of these 2 even come close to him.

i bet you Babe Ruth would've hit more homers if he hadn't pitched for those few years. think of how much more he probably would of had!

Baseball is America's greatest past time. It's just nice to see someone get a new record everytime they do.

The only thing I don't like is when guys jump from team to team for the money. Free agency has wrecked alot of players!

bonds has admitted taking steroids...but he says he didnt know what he was taking at the time...bullshit.


there is no question that bonds has hit many of his homeruns with the help of chemicals....so has sosa(also used corked bats) and mcguire and others...bonds may be clean this year but he has hit the many of his HRs doped up and gets clean right at the end so he can say he wasnt on anything- yeah right.If baseball had a commish with any balls these cheaters would be out of the game already instead of artifically inflating all the great records in baseball.im not saying bonds isnt a great player who would have hit homeruns but would he have hit 73 in one season all on his own? or 755?No way.

why is not only bonds, but all other homerun hitters, totals way down the last few seasons since stict testing has been in place?Coincidence? I think not.

Football is americas true sport because atleast other contries still cannot kick our asses at it. Base ball is over rated and un fair, I live in tampa and who is our team? The devil rays which have no chance of ever going any where un like the dick yankees our revenue is like 5 dollars compaired to their 900 billion trillion they can buy anyone they want and we have to stick to has beens and rookie turds. Why dont the yankees just buy all the other teams and just have a world series with their self every year so no matter what they win every time and they can have everyone in the world to choose from to play on their team.

So whats your point? If puerto rico can put a team together and beat our guys then the sport is lost. Football will always be american and soccar will never be a dominant sport in the u.s.

so what if most of the players who play in the majors come from the Carribean and Latin America. Just because we have a lot of players coming from foreign countries, it does not mean the sport is lost. What is your reasoning behind the sport being "lost?"

I watched a couple years ago when McGuire broke some record. Seems like every TV station goes nuts when shit ike that happens.

By the way... there is proof that Bonds has taken performance drugs...look at his before and after pic, not to mention...if someone accused you of taking drugs and you didn't wouldn't you sue them for slander?? Hell YES!! Actors do it all the time when the tabloids spread false rumors. Yet Bonds has done nothing to stop the rumors, becasue if he did there would be an investigation. Case closed.
