is this is a common prom problem ?

Im questioning going to prom. I am obviously dateless, (which is bad enough) but what's worse is if I go, I'll be the only single person in my group of friends. How awkward could it get? They all want me to go, but when it comes down to it, would I be ignored unintentionally? Btw Iam a girl, i dont know if that would change opinions but Im putting it out there anyways haha

go and have fun.be yourself and dont worry about it.enjoy the night.there will be plenty of other people there solo.if they are real friends they wont ignore you of course when you start to have a blast dont ignore them either.

Some years ago, I went to a senior prom with my girlfriend and I knew absolutely no one there. She attended a different school and was several years younger than myself. It wasn't a fun time for me but that's because I knew no one and felt awkward around people who were all strangers.

You don't need a boyfriend to go to a prom. You can always ask guys if they would like to go with you, even just a few days before. However, if you have nothing in common it is probably better off just going single and sticking with your friends.

I also would just like to point out to you that all of these so called happy looking couples attending the prom will virtually all have their friendships come to an end and their relationships will no longer exist within a short time. At your age their is a lot of change taking place and no real stability, especially in relationships and post high school times.

If your friends you chose are nice people, they will include you and try to make you feel comfortable. Quit worrying and go either with a guy or single.

go on your own with ur friends and have a laff ur single enjoi it make a fool of yourself have fun and at the end of the night after people have been dumped shagg one of them.
