Is It Normal?
What do you think?
i'm obsessed with australia
Hi. I'm from the US and lately I've really been thinking about Australia a lot. I think about it everyday. I really love the way people talk there. I really want to move there but, I've never even been there before. I even made up my own Austalian accent. Sometimes the thoughts in my head are in an Australian accent. Sometimes I'll catch myself talking in an Australian accent when I don't even mean to. What's wrong with me? Is this normal?

Yes its normal matey all the world should talk like us American accents sound so whiney
If hillary clinton gets elected I'm moving too.
it's not only normal, it's desirable. imagine if all the terrorist scumbags in the middle east suddenly got the idea they should be australian. they would be nice, friendly and happy, and would never dream of strapping a bomb on their back just to f**ck some ugly moslem virgins in their imaginary heaven. wow. they might even be able to build their economies and be prosperous.
Impossble for any arab group to prosper just like africans. Impossible.
i hate cunts that think the australian lifestyle is all 'lets put shrimps on the barbie'. its not. get it out of your head. half of america thinks we ride fucking kangaroos to work
it is good to want to move to another country, but before you do go for a holliday and see how life is there first (don't always believe what u see on tv) before you move, just incase you change your mind
It does soudn like a great place from what i hear. I'd love to visit it as much as you. But hey, once you get there, maybe you'll think it wasn't as great as it sounds! Never know until you actually experience Australia!
i used to obsess about australia too,but i hear they dont really like americans.i could be wrong i know,i'm sure it's a beautiful place.I think i like living here better, and hearing other accents from people all the world, they really get a kick out of our "accent" too.thats the only perk my job has, well except for free food and tips, yea so cheerio

G'day

I am obsessed about Australia too. Mainly because I am one. I speak to a lot of Americans and I can tell you that you are not on yer pat. Heaps of US bods wanna come here. But who can blame them? All this sunshine, beaches and aussie sheilas. Crikey, I think I might have to go to the beach now... Cheers
yeah same problem just japan
That's great that you want to go to Australia!
If you're planning to stay, why not in Melbourne? I can guarantee the 'multicultural'ness you'd feel when you arrive.
Most of the people are friendly, the trains are constantly delayed (not to mention kinda sh*t), water restrictions are still on (though no one really cares). Basically that's it, i guess.
Though most of the shops in Melb. seem pretty "American" with all the huge posters and glass sh*t. That's my opinion anyway.
And always visit the beaches. You'll fall in love with the St.Kila one (though it barely makes waves).
