Ok what do I do?

Ok so recently a girl I know told me she likes me, Her boyfriend found out and instead of talking to me about it he's been a real jack ass to me. So i really like this girl and me and her boyfriend were really great friends. I used to hit on her for fun on the weekends when were bored on msn. Well today I find out he wants me expelled, for liking his gf. He should know that if he tries to beat me up I'll kick his ass. So I dont know what to do he wont talk to me about it...he is pissing off his girlfriend and me. So someone give me some advcie
