I was kinda afraid to click on it too. At first I thought it was a child, but I think it could be a man or woman. The face looks like a mature person...it doesn't matter, that face is still haunting me as I write this. Luckily, tonight I watched a show on American PoWs in Japan in the Korean War. At least that prepared me somewhat.
Yes, there's lots of sick people in the world. At the end of the video, it almost seems as if that poor, emaciated person is mugging for the camera, actually in on it for shock/black humour.

(It is a disturbing home video of a person, almost a skeleton, all dressed up and tap dancing.)

How do you know someone is starving her? Maybe she has an eating disorder, and she's starving herself. Anorexia and other eating disorders are serious mental illnesses. One of my friends had anorexia but refused to get any kind of treatment. She was over the age of 18, making it very difficult to "force" her into treatment. She ended up dying, with all kinds of resources, love and support around her, had she wanted it. Just like people with a drug addiction, a person with anorexia has to want to get better and contribute to their recovery. Friends and family can be supportive but the ill person has to do the majority of the work themselves.

Additionally, there is a large pro-anorexia movement (called pro-ana)on the internet, as well as many fetish websites for people who are attracted to extremely thin men and women. This woman may be a part of one of those movements.

That being said, I do agree it's in very bad taste and wrong to film someone who is so ill in such a bizarre fashion. But I don't believe she's a child, and therefore she needs to take at least some responsibility for what's happening to her.

The answer is that i donīt know that she is being starved.
I assume it though for four reasons.

1. The skeleton seems to be smaller than would be expected if she had only been starving in recent years.
When people starve at adulthood their skeleton remains large, but when starved from childhood most of the energy goes into staying alive and little is spent on growth leading to a childlike skeleton at adulthood.
She seems to have a childlike skeleton.

2. 60 minutes once covered cases where children had been starved at home. And unbelievably it turned out to be completely doable to starve people in that way and even send them to school.
People never bothered to help them for it didnīt suit their interests. At one point one of those children had even begged a teacher not to let his parentīs know that he had eaten a hamburger, for he would receive punishment if they would find out.
The teacher still didnīt do anything to help the starving kid.
At age 19 he had the growth of a child.
I therefore became more conscious that this can happend, has happened and will happend again.

3. The one who is videorecording for some reason never says anything and is never shown, nor is it ever possible to see anything about where the video is made except for the text "LA bunny" or something like that.
Very suspicious.

4. Humiliating a dying woman in this way takes an evil man.
And evil men are more likely to conduct evil actions than those who are not, like starving a child for extensive period of time.


Judging from this I assumed that she is being starved.
Iīm hoping that iīm wrong though for that would make me feel a heck of a lot better.

5. It could possibly be the mother responsible, a mentally deranged, twisted 'mother'.

SHE IS NOT BEING STARVED! This person clearly has/had polio. You can tell by the lack of muscle in one leg and having semi normal muscle in the other.

Thus the reason for her child-like appearence. Do some research before you start screaming torture. I had a teacher who had polio, and yes it is still around today, some people get it from the vaccination because they have weak immune systems. It's a person, who has polio, tap dancing.

That was so scary. I am actually shakey because of it. The person looks like an adult to me. Her face is to mature -looking to be a child. I think she is anorexic or trying to do some pyshco twisted thing on the internet. I think that is very sad. I don't believe she is being starved by anyone. If she was being starved then she would haven't have that evil look to her face. It was like she was trying to hurt here body and it made her feel good. That is one of the most torturing videos i have ever seen. PRAY FOR HER PLEASE

I'm glad you pointed that out. It's not so much a comforting thought but is less distressing one. Due to my initial shock and sadness on seeing the video, medical reasons were not considered at all, naturally leading me to think the worst.

Watching this video I immediately assumed a girl had been kidnapped 20 years ago and had from that day been held captive in someones basement.
The capturer had then entertained himself by starving her and forcing her to do whatever he wanted her to do, for food.
