Blinded by alcohol

Hi, i'm 36, been drinking various amounts of alcohol for about 20 years now. Not in any excessive way, just the normal pint with my friends or bottle of wine over dinner with my wife. In the last two weeks though when i've had slightly more than say a glass of wine or a pint of beeer i've lost vision in my left eye. It's really freaking me out and obviously i'll try and see the doctor but does anyone know about anything like this?
Do you think it's normal?

I am a severe alcoholic with a few brain cells left and a caring and gentle soul as well. Look at history. Most of the great men were alcoholics, I am not a great man but I do like a drink or seven. Enjoy. Be true to your inner most self. Life will crap on on you anyway. No matter how drunk I get, I still haven't got the guts to kill myself.
lol suks to be you....... im not a doctor but i think therll give you tabs to cut dwn on the blood preasure (they normaly have side effects about instant death though ive had them befour) and yourll have to quit for a while
