thrift store shopping
i like going to thrift stores to buy my clothes.its like treasure hunting ,you never know what great deal you will find today.


ive got a whole closet full of LL Bean,Ralph Loren,Polo,Amercrombie,CC Filson etc name any expensive brand and Ive got it in shirts,pants shoes belts for pennies on the dollar.

why pay 80 bucks for a pair of Polo chinos when Goodwill has them for 5 bucks,like new?


the problem is my friends make fun of me when i tell them i shop thrift.one friend even said he wished i wouldnt be so open about where i get my clothes,it embarrasses him.its not that i have to shop thrift..i make decent money ...i just like to do it. my friends dont see the irony---they are standing around in JC Penney and Walmart clothes making fun of me in my Polo and CC Filson clothes.

is it normal to shop thrift and be open and honest about it?

Yeah if you are white trash or a hippie. You may find those clothes if you go from town to town and look really hard but chances are you will mostly find old lady clothes that someone dropped off after their mother died. What a waste of time. You are still wearing used clothes and there is no reason for that if you make decent money.

I cannot see the sense if you make decent money. Why work hard to buy someone elses cast of shit. You can buy decent clothes in other stores without spending a lot of money and theyre brand new too

Shopping at the thrift store is not my cup of tea as I hate the idea of wearing someone elses things. But I also think that if you want to shop there all the time that's your buisness. Also, to me, the Goodwill and Walmart are the same thing.
