I'm 13/ 7th grde and in band. in the mornings b4 school we have band. there is this 5th grader there named matt, he is rele cute, like little kid cute not cute cute, some times i have feelings for him, and i rele want to go out with him, but then some other times im like ewwww i like a 5th grader?!?!? and some times he stares at me, he plays the bass clrinet and i play the clarinet im going to play the bass clarinet next year and during to summer this year im going to ask him if he could help me with band, and maybe a little relationship, but he is going to be in 6th grade and im going to be in 8th... idk what to do, i rele like him like more than a friend (sometimes) but we never talk, he sares @ me and i wave and he doesnt wave back!!!!help!!!! should i talk to him?!?

It is okay to be friend with him. But, I think this is not good idea to go out with him because you said "Sometime I like him and sometime I don't." So, I think if you go out with him, you won't have a good relationship with him because sometime you love him, sometime you don't. So, I think he isn't right person for you, plus he is in grade 5 and you're in grade 7. Find other person that you love more and better than him and same age as your. I think he don't have feel for you.
