Difficulty hearing
Hi all,
I have had various problems with my hearing and spoken word comprehension. I am an A student and do well on all my tests and essays, but people think I am a bit of an idiot because when they talk to me I look like I am staring blankely or staring at their mouths instead of their eyes (which I have been told looks a little creepy lol)
The alternative is pissing them off by asking "what" or "come again" over and over. My hearing is not so bad as to consider myself deaf, its just at the point where I have hearing aids, but no disability.
I feel like an idiot in social situations to the point that I avoid loud places and big social situations. I even have people I try to avoid because I can never hear them and its embarassing. I feel stupid often.
Is this normal? what should I do?

my brother is 80% deaf in his right ear, he went to the doctor and "rebuilt" his ear and I think he can hear alot better now although I still always walk on his left to not make him say "what?, come agian" all the time.

Lip reading would be good to learn as well in your situation, also, are you going bald? what is your age because this could be a sign of low hormone lvl's
