Is kissing supposed to be enjoyable...?

Ok I kiss my boyfriend and I dont really like it... its ackward and not magical at all.
I never thought it would be neccisarily magical, but I always thought people did it because they like it...
but really its so overrated...
I dunno...
I dont think its "icky" or anything, I just dont like it that much.

It all boils down to attraction as far as kissing goes. If you don't feel attraction then it is surely apt to be a major disappointment and not pleasurable. Regardless of your sexual orientation, we are not all attracted to members of our preferred sex in terms of pleasure via intimacy. It is an issue of chemistry and because you are dating a person does not mean you should feel attraction toward them. That is a process of selection and takes time.

More often, the people who we are most attracted to sexually are not the best mates for a long term relationship. Keep that in mind for the future. It isn't all about orgasms or getting off, rather about compatibility.

You should not enjoy kissing if you are with a person who is not an object of attraction. That is normal and do not worry about this. I suggest you look elsewhere for friends but do not show any disappointment toward your current friend. We are not all perfect matches, that is part of life. It is about selection and compatibility and these take time, learning and experience.
