When I was twelve or thirteen, this girl I barely knew mentioned she is so thin because she drinks bleach in order to purge. I was thinking, that is harmful and can kill. I mentioned it and she claimed she did it all the time and that she was fine. So, because I wanted to be thinner, I told her to do it before I tried it. She wasn’t going to, but after putting the peer pressure on, she did and ended up in the hospital. I didn’t think she was actually going to do it. I felt bad, but she was okay in the end. I don't think she was fully mature or developed to put it nicely and I felt responsible because I knew better. Was this my fault or her fault? It also strikes the question, how common is this weight tactic?
i have never heard of anyone drinking bleach to make them sick, if you want to be thin change your lifestyle etc. instead of being tempted to drink toilet duck or tesco peach scented bleach. Yum Yum.
Also, peer preassure will only hurt you and others. Don;t do it. Pool water is cheaper.
