Open it with MS Paint and click save as and save it as a JPG.

This worked for me:

Simply open the GIF.
Go to File, then Save as and save it as a BitMap.

Then open the BitMap and Save it as a JPEG.

Or get a real graphics editor like Paint Shop Pro or Gimp (Its free)
