yes, it is normal for people to hate their jobs. The question is, why. why do you go to a job that u hate so much? why put up with it? what I would do if I were you is evaluate. ask yourself why u hate your job. Is it the people I work with, is the equipment I need for my job poor. If it is things that can be fixed, like getting new office supplies, I would take to your boss and try and change the things u dont like to make it more pleasant to work there. If it is something like the people u work with that u cant change or fix, then I would seriosly consider trying to get a new job. I know there are a lot of issues to consider when thinking about changing your job, like money, especially if u have a family. Ask yourself though, is it really worth being miserable? if u dont do something now, u never will. you could stay working the same job and still be miserable years from now wich would probably leave u feeling frustrated, tired and have a negetive impact on you life. You should find a job that u dont mind going to and that makes u happy. life is short, live it to the fullest.
some good advice here. most people dislike their jobs. i suggest you search on your spare time for employment elsewhere and do not tell anyone what you are doing. Often, when word gets back to your superior that you're looking elsewhere for employment, they devalue you and use vindictive tactics to make your stay less pleasant than it already is. Consider making a sacrifice, perhaps in pay or hours, to make the change a reality. Looking for the perfect job is often not realistic, make sacrifices and you can leave the place that is causing you misery.
