Being a modern woman, I look back and see some of the traits that women exhibited in days past (especially as glamourized as holywood women, who had exaggerated femninity) and feel proud that I am not as fragile, dependant, and submissive. Maybe *you* need that in a woman to feel secure in your own masculinity, but I believe women today are probably better off.
