The Problem With My Jaw
It started when I was sixteen, I did research on it, found out when you hit a certain age or have your wisdom teeth removed, your jaw bones shift accordingly for full fledged maturity, but the problem is, it hasn't stopped for (coming up on) three years. They click, they hurt sometimes when I chew food. I'm eating a sandwich right now during 2:32 PM and my jaw hurts so damn bad on the right side, it's not funny. :(

Suggestions? Comments? Flaming? Advice? If you say "go to your doctor", I will hate you long time.

I had a college professor who said all our jaw problems stem from the fact that we developed fire and our big jaws we once needed to chew raw meat are shrinking and all the bone and teeth doesnt have room to fit in there.

But Im not sure how that will help you.
That was interesting information actually, made tons of sense.

Thanks.
Maybe you have hemorroids and the problem spread from your anus to your mouth like cancer.
I really don't know how to answer that, I really don't.

been sucking too much oompa?
oompa loompa
my brother is a dentist. and i will have to say "go see a dentist". because you probably grind your teeth at night. you dont know it because you are , obviously, asleep. but if someone is in the room with you, they can hear it. your jaw is sore because it sounds like you have TMJ. you will have to see a dentist because he will have to make you a mouth guard. you put it in at night, and then your jaw wont grind. TMS comes from stress. or it can just run in the family. i know all this because i have the same problem you are describing.
@: sarasso
correction on tms...I meant TMJ.
OMGZ I FORGOT! I do know I grind at night, I've comfirmed it because I've had some nasty tongue-cuts, actual visible ones (tiny piece underneath tongue actually movable and would taste weird, ooo gore!) I got a grind-guard from walmart, but I have to reset it and haven't had time yet.

Plus I think I stopped grinding for the moment, lately I've been chewing gum, but that shouldn't have an affect, it hasn't before...

Thank you Sarasso!

No, one of my friends told me she has TMJ and I told her about my problem and she said she didn't think it was that because my jaw doesn't lock up or disconnect, ever.
im really glad i could help!!! i know tmj sucks! chewing gum is bad too , though. but i still chew it anyways. just not as much as i used to. the night guard from wal mart is good. i have one of them too. but i usually wake up finding it across the room.
Yeah, I noticed the thing likes to choke me and would fall out alot...

LOL.
