Really, time will tell. Being 14, you don't know everything - you're still learning. Unfortunately, most people never figure out who they are, but does it really matter for you?
As for boys getting mature and not being stinky, wait a few years. Physique attributes usually develop before mental attributes in guys (maturing fully around 23). From all the experiences I've had (and read about), women don't fully mature until around 26. Of course there are exceptions.
All I can suggest is to worry about yourself before looking at other people. You'll be much happier.

Since you mention you feel this way with both guys and gals it may be a fear of being close to someone/intimate.
