you should most defiantly email her, start talking to her, maybe even ask her to go somewhere with you or something, and whenever the time comes if it seems like she likes you back then ask her out :] good luck!

Well, if you only met her this summer, you can't be that good of friends. Ask her out, see what happens. Don't do it over email though, it doesn't work too well. Ask to see her in person to hang out and then ask her, or ask her at summer school. Having a relationship when you go to a different school than you're mate is difficult (especailly if she has overprotective parents), but if you really like her its worth it.

I've been with my girlfriend for a year. We go to different schools and she has extremely overprotective parents (she once lied and said she was going out with a freind and saw me instead, her parents actually called her friend's parents, and well, i couldn't see her for a month). Its extremely difficult to see her, and when I do we usually have very little privacy because we have to go with one or more of her friends, but it's all worth it. I cherish every moment I have with her, and hopefully you will be able to do the same.
