LOL RANT
Am I normal for HATING people that use the acronym "LOL" CONSTANTLY in conversation? It drives me insane. EX: You: Hey what’s up? Them: Nuttin. LOL.
I mean, they never actually DO it, do they? Do they actually scream "HAHAHAHAHA!!!!" at the computer every other word or REALLY dive on the floor and start rolling around like you set them on fire, dying laughing just because you said something like "How are you today?".
We should start using the acronym "PS" for "Polite Snicker", as that's all anyone actually gives.
And WHAT'S WITH EMOTICONS?! Every 5 seconds someone's giving me ;) or :) or something like that. We should generate a new generation of emoticons. Here are some suggestions.
(.) ASS
(!) TIGHT ASS
(__.__) FAT ASS
(_o_) ASS THAT'S BEEN AROUND
(_0_) MICHAEL JACKSON'S ASS
(_______________._______________) KIRTIE ALLEY'S ASS
Does anyone agree with the annoying usage of emoticons? Be part of the revolution; help bring Assicons into chatrooms, emails and instant messaging.
P.S. Try using made-up Acronyms like "gnm" and GrG" in chat rooms and see if people play along to avoid appearing ignorant. Sadly enough, they will.

If that was said the person having written it would sound like a fucking hyena or Jim Carrey on speed, I too like you HATE words that are abbreviated online. I feel often online the only way people judge you is by your words and abbreviations and text talk just tell me that the person is either lazy, stupid, or both!!
I completely disagree with the statement of it determing whether or not a sentence is meant to be sarcastic though, because it's usually used as a method of humiliating someone.
For instance;
"You're such a fat ass lol..."
Translates into:
"You're such a fat ass, and I sincerely mean that, and I'm laughing in your face because of it"
My rant about this doesn't compare to yours, but begs it for sexual favours. GEG.
